About Steven

Steven is an executive coach and transformation advisor with 20+ years of international leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, manufacturing, and technology.

His roles have included Chief Digital Officer, CIO & VP of Transformation, Global Head of Business Architecture, and Head of Lean Six Sigma & Quality – leading enterprise change at organizations including Novartis, Roche, Zehnder Group, HP, and ThyssenKrupp.

Steven’s work focuses on one outcome: executing transformation through leadership.

His practitioner-scholar background gives his coaching and advisory work a practical edge. He understands how leaders think and how organizations actually behave when financials, people, and performance are at stake.

Based in Basel, Switzerland, Steven works fluently in English and German with clients across the DACH region and internationally.

Through executive coaching, leadership team effectiveness, and change leadership, I help improve decision quality, leadership impact, and transformation outcomes. No workshops for the sake of activity.

Doctorate in Business Administration, with credentials spanning executive coaching (ICF), digital transformation (IMD, MIT), and delivery excellence (Lean Six Sigma MBB, SAFe RTE).

I work across boards, C-suite, transformation leadership, and functional leaders – bridging organizational silos from a practitioner-scholar perspective. Coaching, digital transformation, delivery excellence is what I do.

Whether it be making a career decision, having difficult discussions, leading and managing people, facing up to conflict, etc. My experience in managing, leading, and coaching teams stems from over 20 years of experience; it is more than a theoretical background.

Getting started with coaching is easy. Simply reach out to me via the “Contact Me” or “Book Me” button. By doing so, we will establish, in a 30-minute discovery session, what your needs are and if I am the right coach for you. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to success.

The first step is establishing a connection, which is done through a 30-minute discovery session that is free. This helps both you and I assess the need and determine if I am the right coach for you. Once completed, we can establish a coaching plan.

Generally, a coaching session is scheduled for up to one hour. Engagements typically last three to six months.

Extensive experience across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. I’ve also partnered with clients in India, the USA, China, and across Europe.
